Northern Plains Chapter Annual Scholarships
The next series of scholarships will be awarded Spring of 2008. Please have all applications turned in by February 29th, 2008.

    -Member Dependant-
Scholarship(s) for a highschool graduating dependant of a paid NPC chapter member, pursuing any field of study, attending any institute of higher learning.
 
Qualifications:
* High school graduating dependant of a paid NPC member.
* Transcript documenting a 2.75 GPA or higher.
* Two letters of reference.
* A 250 word typed essay on your acomplishments, community contributions, work experience and how this scholarship would help you achieve your goals.

    -Campbell County Graduating Senior-
Scholarship(s) for a Campbell County School District high school graduating senior pursuing Mining/Civil/Geological/Chemical or relatd field of study, attending a college of their choice.
 
Qualifications:
* Transcript documenting a 2.75 GPA or higher.
* Two letters of reference.
* A 250 word typed essay on your acomplishments, community contributions, work experience and how this scholarship would help you achieve your goals.

    -Best in the West-
Scholarship(s) for students in mining and explosives related majors.
 
Elegibility:
* Demonstrate a need for financial assistance
* Major in Mining, Geology, or a related Engineering or Industrial Science program. Seniors and juniors will be given preference, but sophomores and freshman will also be considered.
* Have some involvement in outside activities or community service.

* Cover Letter
* Completetd application form, describing financial need, work experience, community service, awards, GPA, etc.
* Letter of reference from an instructor.
* Letter of reference from an outside source such as an employer, athletic coach, or director of a community service group.
